Today I wanted to share three knitting podcasts with you that I’ve really been enjoying lately. If you haven’t seen any before, these are great ones to start with. And if you watch knitting podcasts already, add these to your queue! They are my new favorite way to spend some time while knitting and creating.
1. Dunkel_grun. This video podcaster is a chemist living in Zurich. Along with sharing her knitting, dying, and spinning projects, she always includes a mini science lesson about wool or dyes. You can learn so much from her episodes and gain such an appreciation for our craft.
2. Woolful. This audio podcast is all about fiber. The episodes I’ve heard focus on the ecological, sustainable, and social justice aspects of wool production. If you want to learn more about the fibers you knit with, this podcast is for you! I believe she is changing the name to Making sometime soon but have yet to find that one.
3. A Homespun House. This gal is so delightful to watch. She dyes yarn for her shop and shares little bits about her life in Germany. Be warned: after watching her podcast you will most likely want to knit socks!
Thanks to Carole for this blog linkup!
P.S. – I discovered this morning that my web provider has been blocking comments and labeling them as spam. Forgive me if you’ve commented and not heard back from me – I’m unraveling the problem today and so greatly appreciate the thoughts you’ve tried to share with me!
